Mayers Memorial Hospital Opens New Wing!

For 23 years, Mayers Healthcare Foundation has had the privilege of supporting Mayers Memorial Hospital and the community through thoughtful philanthropy and service. As we reflect on the accomplishments and challenges of this year, we celebrate the ultimate milestone of our Capital Campaign: the opening of Mayers' new hospital wing! This was accomplished thanks to the many generous community and employee donors, grants, and partnerships who helped us raise over $3 million dollars. We are proud to have helped the Hospital fulfill its mission!



On August 18th, 2020 the new hospital wing officially opened. The new 10,740 square foot wing houses the hospital's laboratory, imaging, and emergency services departments. The new wing has transformed Mayers into a modern facility capable of delivering state of the art healthcare in a healing environment in the rural setting. We know it will serve our residents, and visitors, of Northeastern Shasta County for many years to come.
