Chocolate Festival

The Annual Chocolate Festival is a community favorite with something to delight all ages, a true family-oriented affair. On the last Sunday in January, talented bakers create tasty chocolate desserts which are entered into a competition. Our volunteer judges, who must be chocolate lovers, taste the scrumptious entries and rank them on appearance, taste, and creativity. Once judged, we open the doors to the public and everyone is welcome to taste all the delicious treats! During the event, there is a raffle for some wonderful gift baskets along with some awesome items that will put a smile on your face. The live auction featuring all the great chocolate creations will go home with the lucky highest bidders to enjoy! So if you love all things chocolate, then this is where you should be on the last Sunday in January!

This years event was a record-breaker with 75 entries and lots of attendees. Crumbs Restaurant made some delicious soups for festival-goers to taste just in case they needed a chocolate break. New to our wonderful raffle was the addition of some delightful bears. These colorful plush and comfy creatures were the highlight for children hoping to win one. We want to thank Craig Harrington for donating these cute bears and for doing such a fantastic job with the auction. The Foundation extends a huge thank you to all who attended this fun event and to all the volunteers who helped with judging, serving, registering, and clean up. Next years event will be Sunday, January 31st, 2021.

Thank you to all the 2020 Chocolate Festival participants!

Congratulations to the winning participants!
